History of Lucent

Lucent Technologies was formed as a spin-off of AT&T's manufacturing division and provided telecommunications equipment including Telephone Systems and Office Phones. In 2000, Lucent spun off some of its brands, intellectual property, and technology into a newly formed Avaya.

Lucent (and its predecessor AT&T) manufactured a number of established phone system brands including the Lucent Partner series which is still in production today.
